Zone T Temporary Terminal
Supporting Seamless Passenger Flow During Major Terminal Redevelopment
As part of a major redevelopment program, Auckland Airport required a temporary check-in solution to maintain efficient passenger processing while upgrading its international terminal.
NZ Temporary Structures delivered Zone T, a high-capacity, modular check-in facility located between the Transport Hub and the existing international terminal. The structure enables continued operations while construction progresses, ensuring a seamless passenger experience.

The Solution
A purpose-built Cargo Structure designed for high-throughput Auckland Airport Project operations:
20m x 55m clear-span structure with 5.3m side height for optimal internal space
Capacity to support passengers for up to four wide-body aircraft simultaneously
Weather-protected, efficient check-in environment
Integrated access to existing terminal infrastructure

Auckland Airport Project Highlights
