A Modular Space for Dining & Community
Nestled on Victoria’s stunning Mornington Peninsula, the Sorrento Brewhouse has quickly become a go-to venue for locals and visitors alike. With its blend of casual dining, craft beers, seasonal cocktails, and local wines, the brewhouse needed a space that could capture its vibrant community atmosphere while accommodating both indoor and outdoor hospitality experiences.
To achieve this, we delivered a premium modular solution that combined style, comfort, and flexibility.

A Flexible Modular Design
The brewhouse project was designed around a 10.00m x 20.00m Premium A-Frame Structure, offering the scale required for both dining and events. The modular building included:
Six bays of glass walling for natural light and visual connection with the outdoor areas
Two double glass doors providing guest-friendly entry points
Five bays of clear vinyl sides to enhance openness
Four insulated wall bays for thermal comfort
Two clear gables for added aesthetic appeal
Three integrated commercial reverse-cycle air conditioning units for year-round comfort
This combination of design and functionality provided the brewhouse with a welcoming interior, while still maintaining the open-air feeling central to its brand identity.

Enhancing the Sorrento Brewhouse Dining Experience
The structure was tailored not only to accommodate a full-service café and bar but also to extend the experience into an impressive beer garden and outdoor sun deck. Guests can now enjoy a cosy indoor dining area that flows seamlessly into alfresco seating, creating a flexible venue that adapts to seasonal demand and event requirements.
The result is a venue that captures the essence of the Sorrento lifestyle, relaxed, social, and community-focused, all within a modular space that delivers both aesthetic appeal and robust functionality.
Why Modular Was the Right Choice
For hospitality operators like Sorrento Brewhouse, modular structures provide distinct advantages:
Speed of Delivery. Installed in weeks, not months, minimising disruption to operations.
Design Freedom. Configurable layouts, wall types, and finishes tailored to brand identity.
Sustainability. Relocatable and reusable structures that can evolve with the business.
Comfort & Performance. Insulated walls, climate control, and high-quality finishes ensure an enjoyable dining environment.

A Community Landmark
Today, the Sorrento Brewhouse stands as more than just a dining space; it’s a community landmark that embodies the flexibility and creativity of modular construction. The project demonstrates how temporary and semi-permanent structures can deliver premium hospitality experiences, proving that modular design is not just functional, it’s inspiring.
